NJ receiver commits

A couple days after returning home from Iowa City, wide receiver Frank Darby decided that he had seen enough. On Monday morning, the 6-foot-1, 180-pound New Jersey native made the call and gave his verbal commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes.

As a junior, Darby caught 19 passes for 532 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior at Jersey City Lincoln High School. He chose Iowa over scholarship offers from Pittsburgh, Syracuse, UMass, Liberty, and Towson, among others.
Darby is commitment No. 16 for the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Class of 2016.
