Coach Fran McCaffery and staff have landed their second commitment of the weekend. Yesterday, it was Washington D.C. center Luka Garza deciding and today Indiana power forward Jack Nunge joined him, announcing his verbal pledge to the Hawkeyes following his official visit to Iowa City over the weekend.
The 6-foot-9, 185-pound Nunge chose Iowa over scholarship offers from Clemson, Nebraska, Georgia Tech, Creighton, Vanderbilt, Toledo, Evansville, and Ball State.
Overall, he is the third commitment for the Hawkeyes in the Class of 2017, joining Garza and Connor McCaffery.
