Perry benefits from redshirt year

While ten members of his class played in their freshmen year, Travis Perry took the redshirt route. The Urbandale, Iowa native says it helped him adjust to college life and now he's already emerged on the Hawkeyes depth chart with a chance to make an impact in 2012. He talks about his first year experience and playing special teams this fall.
