Running back Kamari Moulton has committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes. The 5-foot-11, 190-pound Florida native announced his decision tonight after making an official visit to Iowa City this past weekend.

"What really stood out the most is how much they push their education," Moulton said after his visit. "They want to make sure you’re successful even after football."

Moulton, who was previously committed to Florida Atlantic, also held scholarship offers from Syracuse, Connecticut, Florida International, Buffalo, Central Michigan, Toledo, and Akron, among others.

"With a lot of thought over the past few weeks I've had the opportunity to reflect with my family on a hard decision about my future, academically and athletically," Moulton said in a statement. "After a great visit and multiple discussions with coaches, but most of all my family, I've decided to de-commit from Florida Atlantic University and pursue my education and the next step of my football career at the University of Iowa!"
