What can you even say at this point? Caitlin Clark continues to make remarkable plays seem almost routine. Iowa's all-time leading scorer is not just an incredible shooter (among her many other skills), but she also has an unparalleled sense of the moment and how to produce her greatest plays in the moments of highest drama.
Tuesday night, she did it again, draining a preposterous three-pointer from the beak of Iowa's mid-court logo to lead Iowa to a walk-off 76-73 victory over Michigan State. Just take a look:
The officials reviewed the shot to see if she did in fact get it off in time, and determined that the ball had left her hands -- by the slimmest of margins -- before the clock hit all zeros.
Here's another view of the shot:
Here's a look at the build-up to the shot:
And one final angle of the shot:
This is not the first time that Clark has hit a memorable buzzer-beater to win a game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena of course. Last season, Clark nailed this incredible 3-pointer to knock off Indiana in Iowa's regular season finale.
The @IowaWBB Twitter account probably put it best:
Caitlin Clark is simply unreal.
