A former Northern Iowa basketball and football Insider for Townsquare Media, Eliot joins the team as Go Iowa Awesome's new recruiting analyst. He brings experience and know-how for recruit evaluation.

In the annual Battle for the Boot and crosstown rivalry matchup between Iowa City High and Iowa City West, the City High Little Hawks took the victory this year, 23-8.

Among the bevy of talent on the field, 2025 three-star ATH Mason Woods and 2024 safety Drew Larson stood out among the rest -- and for very different reasons.
