A pretty good start to the season for our crew picking games.
Blair Sanderson, Matt Randazzo, and Lyle Hammes came out red hot in the Hawkeye Report Pick Six and went 6-0.
Tom Kakert, RDietz, and John Kerth were 5-1. The only two with a pair of defeats were Mike Zierath and Torbee at 4-2.
We get back at it again this week with our selections from a pretty good menu of games.
Leading the way will be the annual in-state tussle between Iowa and Iowa State. The rest of the games include:
Oklahoma at Ohio State
Auburn at Clemson
Georgia at Notre Dame
Nebraska at Oregon
TCU at Arkansas
MIKE ZIERATH (last week 4-2)
OSU
Clemson
Georgia
Oregon
TCU
Hawks grind one out, 21-17. My PTC this week is the Stable of backs toting the rock this weekend.
TOM KAKERT (last week 5-1)
Ohio State
Clemson
Notre Dame
Oregon
TCU
Low scoring game. Iowa wins it 13-10. Give me Nick Easley at the pick to click.
BLAIR SANDERSON (last week 6-0)

Clemson
Georgia
Oregon
TCU
I'm going with Iowa 34, Iowa State 20. Pick to click is Akrum Wadley.
TORBEE (last week 4-2)
OSU over OU
Clemson over Auburn
ND over Georgia
Nebraska over Oregon
Arkansas over TCU
I have Iowa getting by Iowa State 31-20. Pick to click is Rugamba with a big INT.
RDIETZ (last week 5-1)
tOSU
Clemson
Georgia
Oregon
Arkansas
Iowa. Stanley throws for 3 TDs.
LYLE HAMMES (last week 6-0)
Ohio State over Oklahoma. Sooners have no better luck in Columbus than Norman in this series.
Clemson over Auburn
Uga goes down in South Bend
Oregon over Nebraska. Wildfires can't stop the Ducks.
Arkansas over TCU. Hawgs stomp the Frogs.
Iowa State is a much improved team after last year's debacle. Jack Trice will be stoked, and the Cyclones have some serious weapons at the skill positions. Matt Vandeberg is my PTC. He was one of the difference-makers here two years ago, and he'll have to do it again to keep Iowa State's defense honest. I've gone back and forth on this one all week. Prove me wrong, Hawks: ISU 27 - Iowa 24.
Matt Randazzo (last week 6-0)
Ohio State
Clemson
Georgia
Oregon
Arkansas
Iowa 17-13.
