The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest team to offer versatile, athletic Class of 2019 prospect Da'Shaun Brown. The 6-foot-1, 183-pound Wisconsin native received the news Saturday two weeks after visiting Iowa City to watch Iowa's win over Ohio State.

"The offer is definitely something that builds confidence and makes me happy," said Brown on Saturday. "I was super excited and thankful, but I know there’s much work still to be done."

A dual-threat quarterback at Racine St. Catherine, Brown finished his junior year with 1,404 yards passing and 17 touchdowns through the air to along with 1,210 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns on the ground. He also had 16 tackles and one interception on defense and could play on either side of the ball in college.

"They offered me as an athlete for now and want to see what I develop," Brown said.

Iowa is the second program to offer Brown, joining Wisconsin. Other schools showing interest include Michigan, Notre Dame, and Minnesota, among others.
