The Iowa Hawkeyes are the latest program to offer safety Scott Nelson. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Detroit native received the news from his coach at University of Detroit Jesuit High School, Oscar Olejniczak, who spoke with the Iowa coaching staff on Monday.

"It was very exciting to get offered by Iowa," Nelson told HawkeyeReport.com.

For the three-star prospect, it is his seventh offer overall, as Iowa joins Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Boston College, Iowa State, and Miami of Ohio on his list.
